| About Joel... | |
| Joel Roberts, the owner of Mechanic Street MUGs, has spent the last 30 years in the crafts business. As a potter and educator himself, he started out making pottery in his garage and taking care of his two children in Oakland, California. | |
| He opened his first gallery/studio in Harwich Port, MA on Cape Cod in 1998. Then in the spring of 2003 he moved to New Hope to open this delightful mug shop gallery. | |
| When you visit, you'll get an eyeful of his unique perspective of the durability of craft as art. |

| Mechanic Street MUGs opened on July 4th, 2003. Specializing in the MUG form, Joel searches most of both coasts to find interesting and sometimes humorous, crafted objects, and many colorful and well-made cups and mugs. |

If you have an old favorite cup or mug you have just broken he can maybe help you find a replacement or help find you a new one too. |
